Product Description
Selecting a variable-frequency drive motor requires more than referencing standard asynchronous motors. The speed range, duration of low-speed operation, and inverter output characteristics all impact thermal dissipation and insulation design.
On conveyor lines and winding equipment, verify acceleration/deceleration curves and load inertia simultaneously. Where necessary, install independent cooling fans and encoders to ensure stable low-speed control.
Low-speed cooling
For low-speed operation, an independent fan can be selected to maintain cooling performance and prevent excessive temperature rise during extended low-speed runs.
